bloomin' blues

:help: folks,we have planted 3 Kousa dogwoods, red , pink, white. 2 years ago. they had some flowers on them when planted.they have not flowered at all this year.what gives? any suggestions. we had a problem with a wisteria blooming and our local nursery told us to root prune in the fall and it worked beautifully. would that work here? help. thanx.
