Boa lacing system

I have tried all kinds of laces. The longest I can get out of a pair of laces is a out a week if I use the expensive kevlar laces. Rotating the eyes hasn't helped either. Has anyone found a good way to solve this or found anything similar to the boa lacing system for climbing boots. I wear Danner quarry 10" 13 eye. Love the boots but have to solve the lace problem.

Gave up on overpriced laces a few years back when I spotted 100 foot hanks of fat nylon cord, about 5/32 diameter in a local discount store. Seemed like 2 bucks for 100 feet was worth a try.

I couldn't decide if I wanted fluorescent pink or fluorescent yellow, so I bought both.

Testlaced 1 pair of boots with each color, and have only needed to replace 1 that went to hell fast due to a gob from a cutting torch.

If you're a young fellow and don't work in gang neighborhoods the pink attracts a lot of interest from ladies for some reason. I ain't of an age for that to do me any good any more.
