Broken isc block

I have a 5/8 isc block and the thing making noises. Grinding no good type. Obviously I need to retire it, but is there a way to replace the bushing?

Yes take it to a machine shop and get them to fab you up a new bushing. I had a couple of small cmi's done last year.

a little lube on those bushings make them last a lot longer.

Blocks aren't so dear compared to what they are carrying and protecting (human life, property). Cut it up with a grinder to prevent yourself or anyone else being tempted to use it again. ISC blocks are very reasonably priced and I'm gonna bet dollars to doughnuts you got your moneys worth out of it.

+1 on that. anytime I rretire gear I destroy it.And by the time you pay a machinist to make a new bushing, you probably aren't saving much.

Send it back to isc. I bet they will replace or fix it at no charge.

If you know the bushing size or can give them dimensions call baum hydraulics in Omaha Nebraska.
They have "everything"!
