brush bandit model identification

I found this sitting in a field while heading back from a job. I found out who owns it but want to find out what model it is first as it needs a noew ford 4 cylinder motor, lower feed roller and some small things. It appears to be in great shape too.
Also
Would it be a 100 or 200 series?

What would be a decent price as it sits?

Are they any good, as i've never ran a brush bandit before.

Hmmm 4 cylinder ford or GM? Im assuming gas?

Im thinking if the above is true its prolly a 90XP or maybe a 150?? usually anything above the 90`s they went with a diesel or the older models went with an inline six which was a ford, the 4 bangers were usually GM........regardless I have a 4 cyl GM in mine & its one hell of an engine...........only 1 problem.....expensive!

Mine threw a rod 3-4yrs ago, the GM 4cyl is a marine engine 3.0 & is sought by boat marinas.......which is where I found mine new in a crate......I was happy as hell untill I found out the short block motor goes for around $2300 - $3000.00, at that point I just rebuilt everything.......that 4 cyl GM gas engine is a good motor but hard to find & anyone who knows what its worth will stay firm.

I could prolly part my chipper out for more money than what I could sell it for intact! LOL

looks like a late 80's model 200, if it needs an engine, not worth more than scrap since you won't be able test anything else

I agree. Late model 200. Maybe a 150. We have a auction place around here that sells a bunch of davey equipment. See a lot of chippers just like that.

might be a ford 2.3 usually found in ford rangers .escorts etc just swap out the motor find out what the old motor ran for rpms. shouldnt need a govenor as it is self feed.. good luck
