bucket truck advice

man i feel like a d.a. i read that post to fast i thought he was refering to somthing on the lift. (its been a long day)

The lr3 is a decent lift, I have one. One thing is the lower boom is painfully slow, especially when cold, but it warms up allright-thank god. The upper is real fast. The controls suck as mine got those big assed round knobs that you have to lift up the saftey and the upper is in a different spot than all other trucks that I've run. That being said, Im still glad to have it and I'll get used to it eventually-oh, the over center is cool, I cant wait to get into an apple orchard someday, I'll get the whole thing from one setup. Can you change the controls to something different?

This is the one I use daily, It goes over center and is a pretty nice unit but like others have said the individual controls suck. I would be interested in how much it would be to change it over to a pistol grip? By the end of this year I will have this one paid off and will be looking at purchasing a crane. Can't Wait!!!
