Ahaha wana sell me that? pass that around at the anual party...

dang

I just sold my two CBR 600's [my teenaqed sons showing to much interest in them!], and I need a stump grinder...

I would guarante the setup unless heavily modded would blow up. I blew the engine one one of my CBR's on a dyno machine. They are a static rear wheel on a drum setup used to measure rear wheel horse power. They do not come close enough to true road conditions; the engine threw a piston... I bought new engine...

Ya its a a## pain when a bike pistion goes because most of the time the shards drop into teh lower end and screw soemthign up real good. My yz 125 blew up 4 times untill i sold it.

Why Stick With The Conventional

Use the bike to run 8-14 25" Bars with a common driveshaft and clutch...
Noodle them stumps to death...

I burned one out some years ago - 2 ft dia. elm stump, coming out of a stone wall I didn't want to wreck. 3 bags of charcoal, covered it up with some old steel plates, smoked for a few days, but the stump was gone!

you wood have to get that bike up on pretty high rpm's to get any where and when you lowered it down into a hard wood stump, if the rear suspension didn't bend or break where it mount's to the frame definately wood, then if you got off lucky and that held together either your chain wood snap or your tranny case wood shatter and send debris flying. and i beleive thats part of the engine block on a crotch rocket. sure it has 100 horse but what is the torque i beleive a stump grinder uses alot of torque that a bike motor could not ever produce. an alumanum engine and tranny will never hold up to the stress. good luck
