All my contacts, names, addresses, phone numbers as well as any notes I want to put in, as well as my schedule book are downloaded into my "smart phone." I type it into Outlook, plug in the USB cable to the phone and the contacts and calendar from Outlook is downloaded into the phone. When someone calls my mobile phone, I can see the name, address and notes on my phone and I just amaze my customers on how well I remember them.

You continue to amaze me, Koa. I've got a Treo 65O and have yet to use it to it's full potential, like the appointment calender and alarm reminder. Now I'm re-inspired.

The smartphones are nice as you can, as Koa has described, synch them with your computer, either phone-to-computer, or computer-to-phone. If you've already got your client list on the computer you can download them all onto your new phone with the push of a button. That's also nice as you can type all the data in on your computer keyboard, rather than using the tiny keyboard on the phone. That, I've found, is nice for a name and a number, but if you get into their addresses and detailed information, one contact can take awhile. If you're logging them in one at a time using the phone, over the course of time, not so much a big deal. Also, they sell wireless (bluetooth) keyboards that can be used directly with those phones, eliminating the need for the computer altogether.

I think this topic is important to this thread as its a cutting-edge tool that can help keep you busy in the down season.

Tell us more, Koa.
