I was just Curious. Suppose you were topping a 80' fir, when all of a sudden you dropped your 357xp to the hard rocks below. When you made it back down, to your amazement, your saw was perfect, not even a scratch ,....except for the little plastic carb adjusting screws retainers . Now there was only one old saw shop around and he didn't have any of that new fangled stuff Could he temporarily fix it with regular needle screws with springs? --- Just curious.

If it has the Walbro HDA-120...I might try to make pt number 503-66-98-01 and 503-66-99-01 work with spring numbers 501-66-77-01....

Just a thought, if one were desperate...
