It's fall arrest, I don't see any use for it in tree work.

thats the petzl via ferratta system isn't it? which case its good for via ferratta and sod all else.

Yeah, it's designed for Via Ferratta. I intended to use it on the ropes course I used to work on.

You could hook two dogs up to it, then if one of the dogs gets hit by a bus, your arm won't get pulled out of the socket from holding the leash!

treeman, they are back, but only on XM radio (there are some discussions about editing the xm show for commercial radio).

I only heard them a few times before. Now that they are on XM, the show is quite vulgar and entertaining!

ps- Treetx- you're right. How doesn ANYONE climb a tree without one or 2 of these!
