mike has hit the nail on the head. if you can continually provide quality work and your customers are satisfied, you are able to charge the comensurate rate which pays the bills. my customers are mostly long-term, trusting and realize that i'm not the cheapest. they don't have a problem with me charging for my skill as well as my knowledge.
