Guess what I did!! Ok , I'll tell you. I bought a new ms260 . Filled it with gas and oil. Walked to the truck and my son said "did you forget something?"

The Damn new fangled oil cap had fell completely off and I poured OIL all down my leg and shoe.

You cannot fill the thing full because hydraulic pressure will not allow the lid to close.

Ha Ha, wasn't this a great post!!!

Been there. But I didn't have the new caps to blame. . .

Been there and still there. With both old and new style caps, gas and oil caps. Latest was last week when I left the oil cap off the MS310. Nice thing there was I was near the end of the jug and losing that tank of oil made me come in early.

Couple of years ago I had party at my house and had spent the day pressure washing all the concrete, decks etc... Has a few minutes to spare so I cleaned up the saws, filled up the bar oil and... oops, here come the guests - grabbed the 036 and walked to the shed... bar oil trail following me... grrr...

does the pressure washer do a good job on cleaning up the saws?

...as we speak, the leather on the entire front of my left boot is a LOT darker than my right, from this afternoon, opening BOTH caps at once, filling oil first, set down oil jug, then fill gas, set down gas can, close gas cap, pick up saw!!! At least when I do this in the middle of winter the stuff is thick and doesn't gush out as fast, but today it was hot and it all "splashed" out like water, all over pant leg and boot. Makes ya feel real stupid don't it?
