Well, they live about an hour and a half away from me and will have to file in my district court. And I will delay every proceeding last minute until I am good and ready to plead my case. It won't be very pleasant for them if they do. Plus, they aren't going to be able to prove it was my fault whatsoever.

If you haven't already done so, write down a complete report of everything leading up to, and including the incident. Every single last detail. Times, weather, location, names, photos, addresses, everything. Get your witnesses to do so as well. If this does end up in legal rendezvous (perhaps months down the road), you won't have to rely on your memory of events. I sometimes have trouble remembering what I had for breakfast by lunchtime...
