I need a carb boot for a Homelite 750. Local sourses don't have and say the part is mfg discontinued.

The saw is in great condition and needed the only spark plug thread repair and a new boot. I was fixing this saw for no other reason than to hear it run, 112CC. Vintage Stihls saws are my interest so if unable to find a boot and someone wants, I would be willing to part with it. The only problem with it weights approx 25 #'s. I little pricey to ship. Rick,

I would really be interested in buying the 750 is you want to part with it. I have a 360, a couple 550's and a 650 but I need a 450 and 750 to round out the that series in my collection. I will also try to send you an email.

Thanks,

Bill

Homey 750

Bill, I would have no problem with parting with it. I collect and refurbish Stihls and usually don't mess with other makes.

It's a nice saw, lightly used. The saw is torn down for inspection and repair purposes. The case isn't broke. Crank, piston, jug, muffler and other parts show little wear. Exterior:Red paint faded slightly. Some light scratches. There is a professional repair on the underside cowling (not too noticeable).

Here's the deal: You could have it disassembled (that's how I would want it since I would want to assemble and inspect parts myself) around $125.00 payable upon your receipt of the saw and inspection. You would have to pay the cost to ship. I would sell after I assemble and run. But, price would depend on how emotionally attached to the saw I've become.

I would trade for specially tools for the repair of Husky's. (pullers and the like) I have all the Stihl tools. rick
