New to woodcutting for heat and was given an older McCulloch saw that didn't run. Took it to the local hardware/Stihl dealer for repair and they have had it for 7weeks. Finally got out of them that a carb kit was on back order this whole time. I got the part number for it and was wondering if anyone here can help me locate such a kit. The number is K10-HDB/49-832. Had it for such a short amont of time before I dropped it off I am not sure of model or age. Thanks in advance. Oh, and very nice informative site!

that kit is for a pro mac 605, 610 or 650 series. I might have a nos mac kit, I can look mon, but your shop should be able to get in a lot less then 7 weeks. maybe just forgot to order it. try calling a couple of other shops and see if they can get the parts and how soon.

Yeah, I keep checking back and he says he is at their mercy. Thank you for the info. If you do find one monday, please let me know. Since this saw has been in the shop so long I snatched up a Husky 359, but I would like to get the Mac going as well.

Thanks for your help and patience fellas ! Hopefully have that old Mac running soon...:greenchainsaw:
