Hey Guys,
I've been looking at getting into carbide cutting chain, I have found a couple dealers and I think some fairly acceptable prices, but nobody seems to be able to give me the longevity the stuff, compared to regular chain. So if anyone knows anything about carbide give me a holler.:help:

Expensive....

Doesn't cut as fast as regular chain....

Has to be sharpened with a diamond wheel....

PITA IMO

Search function will bring up oodles of threads.

couldn't agree more! chain is very expensive to get sharpened. my advice, take the time to keep your wood as clean as possible and stick with regular stuff. on our 660 magnum, we've been using the chains that you sharpen with a square file and i have loved them. anyone have an opinion on these?
