Carburator rebuild kits

Hi Guys, I am in dire need of a rebuild kit for a Ford Motorcraft 1 barrel carb on a 6 cyl. 300c.i. engine on a old whisper chipper. Went to my local parts house and they had no listing for this carb. Thinking it might be a industrial motor. I also need some exhaust gaskets. So just looking for some ideas on where to look. Thanks for any help.

Try any NAPA or CAR Quest store. Try to get one of the older countermen to help you. Good Luck

Give them a call with the numbers off of your carb and they can send you a rebuild kit.

Thank you everyone for your help and suggestions. I will be calling Northcoast today and hoping they have what I need. This site is great and I receive a lot of important information from it.

Glad to hear. I think mine was around $45.00 out the door. I have the Ford 300 straight 6 on my chipper with the motorcraft 1bbl carb. very strong engine. Let us know how you make out!

Carb Kit

Talked to Northcoast and they had a kit plus another gasket I needed. No drama, no BS, they will be sending it out tomorrow morning!! Didn't ask the cost, I am sure it won't be bad and I need the kit. I will post back when it arrives and as to how it goes.
