its quicker to the point that it makes it worth it even for the extra cost. the 7015 is in a whole other arena. that machine is twice the cost if not more.
the upgrade worth it if you have a decent dealer to take care of you. i had a leak on one of the drive motors on the Carlton 4012 and sent it back to the dealer. they replaced it with a used one that did not work. then i called the dealer and he said there was another one on the way. three weeks later, nothing. call dealer, no answer. turns out he was not a dealer for Carlton anymore just a couple of days before i called. called the manufacturer, and let them know what happened and they wanted me to pay for a new drive motor and then fill out a warranty claim and by chance, i may get it covered.
a week passes by hoping my out of business dealer would call me and no luck. i call the manufacturer and good news, they said they would send me one out right away after hearing all the bs i went through over a couple of months.
well, three weeks goes by, and no sign of the part. i called up Carlton, and they have no record of the order and they did not even have my name in the computer. and here i am waiting for UPS.
opcorn:
now i have a machine with three drive wheels working, and the same story that they told me a month before. buy a new one and fill out the paper work and hope that its covered under warranty.
i have never been more disgusted in my life over a more unprofessional company like carlton.
by the way, it might not be worth it to purchase the extended warranty. just pay for what brakes as you go.
