clean up the oil really well and keep a sharp eye on where you think oil is coming from and then go from there. 'Remember it might only be leaking when you are using 2 speed High flow'

I hd a leak in that area on mine about a year ago. It was from one of the hyd. pressure adjustment valves, or whatever they are called. These are the "valves" that stick up from the top of the hydraulic control blocks and look a lot like big spark plugs. They have lock nuts and an allen head screw right at the top. You use the allen head screw to adjust hydraulic pressure. Anyway, one of mine seems to have worked loose a little and let oil go around the o ring at the base. I retightened it too much and ruined the "O" ring. Replaced the "O" ring and tightened the part down. No more trouble. It started leaking in the high flow mode as I recall.
I sold the grinder a while back, and the buyer was telling me recently that he was getting a hydraulic leak in the same area. My guess was that another one of those adjustment valves had worked loose from vibration.
Take the metal cover off and run the machine in all modes of travel. You will be able to see where the hyd. oil is coming from. Those are special high pressure "O" rings. So, you can not just pick some up at the NAPA store or Ace Hardware. you have to get them from a hydraulic supply/repair shop.

Ok thanks I'll check that out right now. Thanks!

Here is what the problem was...it was in the underside of the hudaulic block. It just vibrated loose. Just used an allen key to tighten it and it is back in business. Thanks for your help I was pretty worried about this, now I know what to look for if something like this happens again. You guys on here are a life saver! Thanks again!

Glad you got it fixed. I know what a worry it is, to have a problem with the machine that brings in the money.

once you get a lot of hr's on them the orings harden up and leek . a good thing to do is just replace all of them. thats what i did after the first couple went. not hard or expensive to do. and like was said get the proper orings. enjoy.

Just pressure washed the machine cleaning off a hundred pounds of dirt and chips...and sprayed some lithium chain lube down inside the opening of the rectangular tubing that the tracks retract in and out on an then packed some Greece down the opening and rubbed grease onto the rectangular tubing itself and now the tracks slide in and out like butter!
