[Big feller]

Out and about on the Scottish Island of Mull ( Population about 30, no tarred roads, no street lamps - wonderful place ) I found a guy doing some carving that I reckon deserves a wider audience:

What kind of wood?

Where was it headed?

Where I'm from, several years ago an artist carved two eagles fighting over a fish out of wood. That was destroyed in the making of the mold.
The brass, (I think it was brass), has the wood grain in it. Looks really neat and is in front of our local airport.

Before anyone picks me up on it - It was the isle of Rum or Rhum, not Mull. Having a premature senior moment.
