I was running a husqvarna 455 today, and a small limb pulled the chain off.
I've inspected the drivers on the chain and there are no breaks or cracks, but a few dings on the bottom.
Now some of the drivers won't fit into the bar groove. Can I touch these with a file, or is the chain ruined?

Never had any trouble filing rough bits off anywhere before. BUT, if you buy your chain in great big lengths and make your own up they work out cheap and safer for you as you are less inclined to make an older, possibly damaged chain, go further than it should.

Take care:chainsaw:

Just make sure that you file those burrs off completly! I have seen many a guy touch those teeth up just enough that they sit almost all the way into the groove, then try and pull the chain through the groove with the power of the saw head. Unless those burrs are removed enough that you can pull the chain around the bar by hand, you are just going to waller out the bar. Once, you might be alright because the bar is made of steel harder than the drive teeth, but if you make a regular habit of it you are just going to wear that bar out premature.
I have saved a number of chains after they jumped the bar, and have found a dremel tool will save you a lot of hand filing.
If the chain is bad off, then junk it. You can get chain for that 455 from Baileys at what, 15 bucks?
Be patient and you will be alright.
