I've been offered the following mac chains:
1) Box of ProMac chain P/N- 86780N Type- PM Length-43 15/16 CL-60
5) Boxes of SpeedMac chain P/N-87143N Type-SM378 Length-43 7/8 CL-60
3) Boxes of MiniMac chain P/N-90640N Type-MM370G Length-35 7/8 CL-49
I'm unsure what I'm seeing. First off, the "type" and "CL-XX" refer to I know not what, second off I see no pitch, and third I thought mac was Pintail and Super Pintail? Any time I refer to chains I ask for them by manufacturer and pitch, then give length as amount of drivers.. am I doing this the wrong way?
Does anyone recognize those chains? I'm lookinf for a good non-low-kickback chain for my older saws. I've found that RSK and harvester chain just cut better on my old macs..
I figure I'd best see if I am adhering to standard chain nomenclature or not..
Thanks All.
