Just thought a thread about proper use of a saw and usefull tipps(maintenance, cutting, brand comparisons, mods etc.)anyone has learned over the years might be of benefit to someone.Ideas your have tossed about in your minds, then have become reality that actually worked.Yes,even include ideas you've tossed about that have not been put to the test.

A chain saw think tank thread.

Well I don't know how much of a benefit to anyone this will be but over the past 5-6 years I have tried almost every round file out there and I have concluded that the Stihl Double Cuts are as far as I'm concerned the best round file you can get today.;)

Seems like most of it has already been discussed on AS.

I guess I would be most curious about upcoming engine technology and where saw brands a models are going from here.

There are a few other things though:

When will we see removeable, rechargable belt clip electric starting units?

Will we ever see bars, chains sprocket covers and sprockets removable as a unit and therefore servicible as a unit? I'm not talking eliminating some filing here, I'm just refering to having quick change units for the woods.

Will we really see fuel injection or supercharging of two strokes?
