Hi folks this question is for the saw wrenching Wizards here on the site ,,
Ok i Got a older P28 Pioneer parts saw been playing around with it and got it running sorta...
but sometimes shes very hard to start only sometimes then sometime easy ??,,
But when you get it going and rev it up as soon as it starts
it will run and cut well, as long as i put it to work right off starting!!. ,
But Then I Shut it off for a few minutes then i have to pull my guts out on it to get it going again! I have to choke it and crank it about 10 times then if you hold the throttle on abit it will go and not stop..Idleing sometimes sometimes not..almost like its not getting fuel..
I did clean the carb as best as i could it still has the original diaphrams in it
also when taking the carb off i did it to fast and i ripped the manifold gasket between the carb and the manifold wish i didnt do that i could have saved it if i wasnt out side working on it froze up here -25!!!
So its not perfect hoping thats not it cause??? im terrible at making gaskets but if i have to i will do IT!!! lol
Oh also will a old thin beer box case work for intake gasket material if i make one cause i got no real gasket material??? I know i got a moosehead beer bottle case here somewhere
If you know whats happening or where i should start???
Let me know im noob to OLD Saws
but I like the stink of gas on my hands they are always soaked in it!lol
and thanks
