Chain Sharpener

Gar-Tec sharpener. I bought this last year USED but have not got around to sharpening with it . I did use it for a few chain rakers . Cleaning shelve's off to buy another saw. First $100 free shipping. It is very smooth and by directional.

is the chain clamping handle missing I don't see it in the picture.

It is there . It is the round eccentric steel piece with a small bolt for a handle .

Does it use the 1/8" wheel for everything?
Is it .325 only, or can it accept bigger
wheels?
I see in the manual where it states wheel thickness?

I don't see why you can't put a thicker wheel on it. I have a very thick wheel on it for rakers. I also had 2 spacers made so a 7/8" sharpening wheel (diameter) can be used. The diameter can be from 4 1/4 to 5". Pretty decent little unit . Spins both directions so you can put the burr to the outside on both cutters. First $100 will include shipping. Thanks Bill

Kx do you have a question? A question that deserves an answer. I have not sharpen chains OK.. Used it on rakers OK. I have been running saws for over 35 yrs... Anymore questions please answer them yourself OK

KZ1000 raises a valid point. Your description indicates it is "not used" and now you state it has been used on rakers. Both statements can't be true...

The unit is at least 20 yrs old and I am sure someone has used it. I have never sharpen a chain with it BUT I DID USE IT FOR RAKERS ON 2 chains...72 links OK. Does somebody want to buy it? $100 free shipping

A better photo of the chain clamp would be appreciated.

Ok here is a close up of the chain holder. The small bolt is how you turn it to tighten.
