So, after joining in this forum, seeing a lot of references to Huskies, I wandered over to them at a Lowe's this a.m. just for the heck of it, having experience with only Echo and now Stihl models. While checking over the accessories, I see this Oregon depth–gauge sharpening thingee. Reading the instuctions on the pkg, I see from #1 in the list of how to's the answer to a problem I've had for years. It said, "#1. Make sure saw is turned off." That's my problem, never thought to turn off the saw when sharpening or dressing the chain.

Don't know about anyone else, but I don't want to turn the saw off unnecessarily because [I'm no dummy] that means pulling the starter again to get it back running and that wears out the starter cord.

I don't know eather every time I start reading those instructions, I start eating that candy you get in the white packet. Then I feel dehydrated.
The next thing you Know I'm Drinking lots of beer.:stupid:
