Hey folks.
So I did an hour limbing a willow and then tiding up all the timber for firewood, didn't feel anything funny really and no weird sounds. When I got it down fom the shelf to sharpen it the next day I noticed its missing 5 teeth ,1 on its own and 4 in row.

The saw is my my recently ms170 in its 12" .043 3/8th mini rollomatic bar. I was expecting the chain to be Stihl but when I asked the previous owner he said a cheap B&Q chain and on inspection its an oregon.

Anyone else pulled the teeth off one of these? The saw has had some mods which has really changed the performance, its on par with my 021 if not a little more pokey. Just a duff chain?

I'll take pictures when I get back. The tree was a clean willow maybe 16inch diameter at the base. I'll go back with the 038 and take the last bit down. All of the branches were live green wood.
I'd say 1/3rd worn in good condition, the rakers might have been a little low.
