Chain wont file

any one no why all my left hand cutters are so hard they wont file sharpen, the right hand ones have filed up fine.
I thought it was cutter height problem makeing one side do all the work, but the vernia suggest not.
Any ideas

Please elaborate...Make of chain, visual condition, how much experience do you have?
Most people are better at filing one side than the other based on your right or left 'handedness' Once you realize that you do better on one side than the other you learn to concentrate and compensate to get even filing on both sides.
I sincerely doubt that one set are any harder than the other.

What's a 'vernia'???

Ditto,,,,, Bermies right,,,, use the same hand just turn the saw around 180 deg.
