Awesome saws, what is the large hydraulic saw hanging from the ceiling in the fist pics? The DO101 with straddle chain and bow is cool.

WOLF REED-PRENTICE pneumatic CHAINSAW

This saw is a 1929 Wolf Reed-Prentice Little Giant V4 Pneumatic chain link machine. It was bought new by the Norfolk Western railroad company in virginia to cut railroad ties. It has the original chain on it and is the only one known with this Little Giant V4 pneumatic motor. Most of them had a smaller motor and did not say little giant on it. It is a very rare and early example if a chainsaw. View attachment 311958View attachment 311959View attachment 311960View attachment 311961View attachment 311962

Probably takes a big compressor to run that! V4 must sound sweet. The chain is very interesting, looks like scratcher and a modern type raker with each cutter. Just a lot bigger.
