I would vote for a red Homelite Super XL (NOT the old XL-12. They were decent saws), since I threw mine into the brush three times before I finally got disgusted enough to sell it. I thought a little previous experience might help....

I would love to throw my v6 but i cant pick 560 lbs by myself im sure Robert, Dennis,John knows what im talking about/ 4.5 ft on the v8 ? must have fallen off the pallet when it was on the tractor C>U>I> bill

I have a garage of those Mini macs. I've been thinking about selling them to my enemies.

What's wrong with the Super XL? Nearly the same thing as the XL-12, and they sold them for over 30 years. All the ones I've seen were in pretty good shape.

Humility

Beginner, when I first saw reference to your attempt to sabotage your father`s saw, I couldn`t belive what you were telling us, but I figured that you are only 17 and did this in an unusual fit of rage and later regretted it. Now I see you speaking of your immature prank as if you are proud of your self. If that is the case, I think you would be better off taking the time that you would post here and using it for time to reflect on your behavior and what kind of person you are. If you are proud of the fact that you deliberately tried to ruin your father`s saw and you have no regrets, you are not the type of person who has anything of value to say in my opinion. Like it or not, you are just as much of an ass as you acuse your father of being. Maybe you should take a walk in your father`s shoes someday soon because you are well on your way to being him, or worse. Russ

lets see if i can get somethin outa this.
marky mark is thay ole 044 stihl layin where it landed. if so tellim ill pay shippin for that ole piece o junk that gave your friend so much trouble..:)

We never threw saws. We did use some as 100yd rifle targets. You set, say an XL12 recoil side showing, and aim for the cinter of the recoil, penetrate the case hit the crank and push it thru the other side. That delivered most of the projectile energy to the saw and caused the most destruction.

We got to where we laid them on plastic tarps to make things easier to clean up. We got a kick out of inviting the customer to see his trade-in destroyed.

We finally sobered up and figured out we could not compete with smashing them with back hoes.

I did that with a Volkswagen engine once. It really deserved it:angry: . What a Blaze!!
