Is the flywheel supposed to look like this haha? It’s broke right? I think there were a couple chips that fell out.
You reckon you could put a link to the correct replacement? What can I do to keep that from happening again?

I guess we are looking at the key right? If it was cast in to the flywheel, I'd buy a new key of the same width and mod the existing flywheel to accept a replaceable key. Cases like this are always a good excuse to buy a new tool, rather then a new part.

Assemble it correctly! The taper is what holds the flywheel to the crank. BOTH surfaces must be clean and degreased and the FW nut tightened to the specified torque.
