When I got my 62cc I was really debating between that and one of the 58cc units based on the one you have (G5000 clone). The carb size tipped it, and I'm glad. The 62cc is not underpowered, especially with a gasket delete and a little grinding on the intake.I find it funny it states in the advertising "NOTE: LIMIT 2 PER CUSTOMER" ??? Why the limit of 2 ? Does it take 3 saws to realise that these are barely worth the $115?
I actually have the exact same 52cc saw from a different seller. Yes it is a Chinese copy/knockoff saw. I have had it for over 7 years now. It still starts reliably and nothing at all has broken on it. It is severely underpowered for it's size and weight and the 22" 325 bar mine came with was a complete joke! Only annoying thing with my saw is that after a tank or 2 and the saw gets hot it plain refuses to re start until it has had a 20 minute rest and cooled down.
Considering the price and what you can do with it they are not bad value for money. I have a 3/8" 050 68DL bar on mine and it ran it quite ok. I'll have to fire mine up and use it again while this thread reminds me.
The G621 it was based on is an older design without much in the way of modern engine improvements. It's got quad open transfers and a domed piston. With the minor mods on mine it is stout and quite light, but I would certainly expect more modern designs to put out more power. Nevertheless I quite like using it and it pulls the 25" bar it came with just fine. Naturally I had to properly attach the bar tip, and it was a bit of a problem that they put the clutch on backwards.........I find my 62cc underpowered compared to other brands I have used over the years ... it definitely doesn't compare to my 028av
When I saw cheap and nasty I thought... well you know.
It's an Australian site so expensive by U.S standardsYeah, I was thinking along those same lines, but rather, it was expensive and nasty. opcorn:
