Anybody think this will work? Ive got an old chuck n' duck and an old machine trailer and an old dump unit and Ive been thinking about side mounting the dump on the front of the trailer and cutting the tounge and the axle off the whip and making the chipper and dump a combo on one trailer. Any body ever done this before? Im worried about wieght issuses as far as ballence. Ive seen bandit do this before. If someone has one could you please tell me how far back the axles are set from the hitch.

Several people have done it, and Bandit makes one. No reason you cannot, as long as you can carry the load of chips and chipper.

I had a Promark unit like that. I wish I'd never sold it. I'll try to find the original brochure and post it. It has some of the trailer specs on it. Had a 6" Gravely disk chipper on it w/a Honda 23hp motor.
