never mind chips in the pants......i was 80' up today, sawing merrily away with a WoodsmanPro LP chain on my arb saw, big sawdust flakes spewing out of the saw, drifting down like snow, covering the roof, the neighbours roof, the road, the pond accross the road, all the nice cars next door.......it was snowing!!! :biggrinbounce2: Every hour the grumpy old man would come out of the house next door and blow off his driveway, he finally gave up after the third time :biggrinbounce2:

if one is complaining about chips in their pants then it might be time to change the profession they might be in. if thats the worst part of my day it was a good one. let them saws eat.

It surely does go everywhere, doen't it? The worst part is that if you can't get up and blow it off the roof it makes an otherwise good cleanup look like poop. If we have the lift on site I usually go up and give it a good blow; maybe scoop some junk out of the eves for good measure. Saturday my partner forgot to clamp the chute down on the chipper and I watched him blow a couple of limbs across the street onto the tree lawn. Homeowner got to him before I could. The look on his face was priceless.
