I won't let a rookie groundie wrap up any ropes. They got other stuff to learn first. The ropes will deploy better for me, and I get to inspect them. Don't get me wrong, he will have to learn it, but I don't even let my boss wrap my climbing line. :)
 
If that's what his client paid him to do, so be it. I don't see how that is cheaper to clean up. We all have done jobs like that or worse (I had a big A. plantinoides in a little inner city back yard that I could barely get out to the alley once...)

Well maybe if the cleanup crew is making $5/hr
 
Butch, I still glance that pic of your's (above) when I need a laugh. I'm a groundie, you know, but much like climbers, there are different "classifications" ... One's with class, and one's without.
A groundie that stands around watching the climber chunk sh*t out after he / she comes down outta the tree outta be sent packing with their brainbucket in hand... with their head still in it.
 
Alright, I gotta be honest - that was a "put it on the ground" job. The homeowner was gonna get his sons to clean it up. But ya'll done guessed that, eh? ;)
