dose any one climb in ct in new haven or faifield county? i was wondering because i was climbing this big tree in milford a little wile ago and threw my rope and then had my Buddie go up on a bucket truck and secure it to the house and i was getting all kid of looks climbing up the tree i swung over to get a better attack angle with the saw i would hit the other house if i used my bucket truck and a latter wouldn't't reach. ya i know un safe but its ok im still here i did it right tho with the rigging and also what about that storm fun clean up right

In this case, they may actually help you, because what i'm envisioning has almost GOT TO BE worse than the actuality of what you were doing.....

Why not just climb the tree, establish a high tie in, and walk out to where you need to work?
 
We get the monthly TCIA/tree care newsletter, and one page usually outlines a calender of the previous month, showing by date, the number of injuries and fatalities in the industry. At my best guess theres an average of 7-8 fatalities a month involving tree care that is accounted for in this statistic.
