Climbing in Florida

Hi everybody in great Amerika,
I am a german boy with first climbing knowing (my english is not so good :-()
I have a brother living in Florida/Fort Lauderdale. I´d like to know if there is a chance to meet climbers in Fort Lauderdale or Miami next time I went to him (I think in January/February 2004).
