are there dolmar climbing saws anyone knows of? what model# and any performace reveiews. I recieved a used 111 from cutting edge and it rips it felt kinda weird buying used, sight unseen over the phone from the cutn bros but these guys were great and the saw is a cutting mother, it went right to storm duty, taking a big spruce off a house. cutting edge, good people good saws
3 trees crushed volvo... complete loss
l large spruce tree.... up rooted ripping through neighbors drive and crashing into house. thousands of dollars in repair and structural damage.
1 tree service called in to remove storm damage.... thousands of dollars in clean up and removal
Brandy new sachs in your hands on a roof in 30 mile hr wind gusts while removing tree... PRICELESS

Even a lot of the Husky guys are gonna tell you, when it comes to climbing saws you want the MS200T.

thankyou for the info thats all i was looking for

Red Max is got a saw at a much better price. I like the Echo's for limbing but they lack HP for larger trunks. I dont know much about the red max but I think its stronger than the echos and around the same price

Here's what a simple search produced:
http://translate.google.com/transla...ient=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official
It looks like this saw is almost as light as the 192T Stihl, and rated 0.1 kw more power. But still .3 less than the 200T and .4 less than the 338XPT. i don't think they're available in the US yet.

Stick with the 200 or 338. Personally, I've had great service from all my 335's and Calis the last few years. They run and start as well as the 200, and, muffler modded, outcut the 200. Like the overall design better as well.

thanks x turnsout they dont have one yet and the dealer actually said same as you did.

dolmar....

Ya, I've used one in a tree...it's like any thing else what ever you like....I didn't like it...comparing it to the sthil and husky...it rates right up there with a Husky....they tend to bog down when you're in big wood...I like a climbing saw you can use through out the Maj. of a take down and a crain job....that's my O20 or 200T....but if you're looking for something to limb with you could go that rout....dolmar is a good name...lots of logger use their bigger stuff...Around here you can try any say out and see if it works for ya...so maybe you can do that...you know...good luck..

jmack you have been told the saw to get, the ms200. Do as you are told, it is for your own good.

Lets not forget about the Shindaiwa 357. My climbing saw of choice! So for you Stihl guys.....bring it on :buttkick:

Shindiawa-what the hell kind of name is that? I love Huskies, have had bad times with a couple of Stihls in the past, was told the 335 Husky was a p.o.s. don't know. I do know that the 020, ms200 is a kick ass machine, very impressive performance in a little saw.
