I found this video fascinating, particularly in that the fellow climbing the tree did so properly and with great reverance and care.

The tree is 115.55 meters tall or 379.10 feet tall.

Tall Tales

I've heard tales of a Eucalyptus Regnans in Australia that measured over 400 feet, however it was measured on the ground after it fell. Though no confirmation of this seems to have been made, it is my understanding that
E. Regnans grow over 300 feet in Australia quite regularly, so the tale may indeed be true!

I have climbed to over 300 feet in re-growth regnans, were only 65 years old, my educated guess is they would reach 300 feet in about 25-30 years then fill out from there looking at the 300' "saplings" within those forests ...
