Well, i just recieved my new clutch from Bailey's for my Husky 61....wrong clutch. I talked with Baileys on Friday. Turns out, the clutch for the model is not available anymore for the 61 saws built before 1985. The thread ptch on the older models is a coarse thread and much larger than the newer.

Time to repair the hub. I will take pictures of milling the 19mm end cap off the clutch, welding on a new one, drilling for the bearing grease port, and milling to set the clutch depth on the crankshaft.

Or, does anyone have a clutch to fit this saw?

Thanks,

Jeff

Thanks for the information.

Oh yeah, Baileys was great to deal with. When I called to see if there was another clutch listing for the saw, the customer rep said that they would be mailing me a return label for the other clutch, and that my card would be credited. Every time I have ordered from Bailey's, there service has been top notch. When the Old 61 finally gives up the ghost (which may be very soon), I will be ordering a new powerhead from them.

Yeah they are great about returns,,,,

+1 for Baileys
