Collect chainsaws? What brands?

I don't collect saws and I never will. Too expensive and I only like users. However several saws have forced their way into my garage and hidden under all the other refugee junk that finds its way there. So now I have Homelites (1050S, XL925, 1130G), a McC (PM850). Stihl (075, 076S, 084, 090, (and a 090G that is trying to find its way in)).
So if any of you think I should own more old saws...go pound sand. I'm not a collector!

I would like to ease your burden...
You can banish that 090G to the frozen north and i will make sure it never tries to darken your garage again.
I can send you a new in box MS241 that is itching to go cut wood

I look for oddballs and big CCs. IEL, Mall, McCulloch, Wright (blade and chain), Homelite, and one Indian (see avatar). I like to explore the different engineering approaches in the different models.

Got a few odd balls as well

Have you ever come across a 510? It's been hard to find much info on View attachment 925885

The 510 had a different rear handle assembly than the 500 does.

I'm mostly working on keeping the shelves and corners filled with poulan green and a few craftsman red saws. I have a few macs and homelite that are there just because.
