I am a huge fan of Conehead drum chippers, but while leafing thru a trade publication today I saw an ad from them that showed what looks like a drum/disc morph, anyone know anything about it? I went to the website andf they had no info about this machine. :Eye:

They had it at the last TCI Expo in Detroit. Basically, it is a cone welded or bolted to a disc. The disc providing the inertia, and the cone still doing the chipping. Picture a giant witches hat on it's side and that is basically the shape. I watched a brief video of it and it looks like it works well on cornstalks! Still seems to be quite slow, although I have no first hand experience so ... not sure.

So the tip of the cone is facing the feed roller mech? Are the paddles on the disc for air movement? :angry2:
