Anybody have anything forsale or want to make good copies of for me? Im tryin to put this thing together for the store, and need some more to put in it.

that one yeah.

ive got another one in the shop in pieces that is new that had some parts robbed off of it when it was new? i am pieceing back together.

Pardon me while I drool! Actually that statement is true most days. I'll look aound, I may have an original owners manual. It's yours if I can find it.

only thing not origional on that saw is the recoil cover has a little ring that has been ground off for some reason. and the handle grip, the realllllly old stihl grip was nasty green. I got some new but not enough to do the entire handle off a amish feller.

I scored several of these name plates last stop at the distributor. New, just dirty. Also got a new top shell, green military issue i assume. I walked out with a box of new lightning parts is what im sayin.

Got several more saws to re do, along with a blk and several 07's

not enough time

When was that saw made?

How do find such good new old stock?

1959- im not sure, the one in the picture is a pretty low serial number. Its got some govener parts that are different than the others I have.

I got a masive box of parts one of the techs at the dist center had been collecting over the years. He found parts all over the place.

I have alot of parts for them like new pistons and other stuff ,what do you want , the saw was made in 1958 and on,if you find any pistons that are alot bigger than your jug , guard them with your life , gold is cheaper by the pound, they are out of the super
yours should be 105cc the super is 137cc
the reason for having so many parts was when we had pre-1960 saw races these were the saws to have, the solo rex 125cc is another but the stihl is faster

Jim,

There was an original manual that sold on ebay in the last week or so. I bid on it but forgot to go back and check it at the end. I think it sold for around $23. There is an outside chance I have some old literature in a binder. I will have to check. If you want to send me an email it will remind me tomarrow to check.
