Any of you guys have any year round cutting contracts with any golf courses. If so how do you work out a rate for this type of work. Great site thanks for the help.

the only all year round contacts i know off are powerline clearance or railway line clearance...im not keen on either ..as a rule golf clubs suck..ive found them stingy and uncooperative.oh yeh one i forgot street tree maintanence nice work trouble is cars and pedestrians

ISA's Golf Course Tree Management book talks a lot about work as a gc contractor. I have annual inspections/reports I do for some, and pruning per need.

figure your rate based on your costs plus profit, just like any other. Don't forget lightning protection.
