Converting stihl hexa chain to round file?

since stihl doesn’t make any skiptooth 3/8 .063 RS or RM chain I need to either buy the hexa or square ground (RSLF) and convert it to round file. Which route would be the most efficient?

buying any other brand that does.

Why the need for skiptooth in your case?

I already tried that, picked up an archer skiptooth millimg chain and it does not seem to hold an edge well. So I am going to try zee german steel which has not disappointed in my lowpro setups

Why not give the hexa chain a try? I’ve started using them and I like them a lot, they are easier to sharpen.

Plenty of other chain mfg out there, since you're already talking about converting normal chain.
