picked up a craftsman 3.7/18" with sharpener figuring i would fix and sell but i dont really feel like tearing into it plus i have way too many projects at the moment.

needs the buffer for the handle bar to engine and likely a carb kit. comes with case and extra chain,

it does have spark and feels to have good compression but i have not checked it. looking to get $40 plus shipping will update with photos when either later today or tomorrow.

917.358771 it was actually under the saw on this oneuploadfromtaptalk1397079489249.jpg

Ah. I was operating under the incorrect assumption that it was a Poulan made 3.7 (since we've had several show up for sale here recently). That's a Roper built 3.7AV/PS. I have one just about exactly like it, except yours is in nicer shape. Good strong dependable 60-ish cc firewood saws.

I'm interested if the oiler works. It might not run but you can check the manual part and see if it pumps okay.
Thanks

its actually empty of fluids, i'd prefer not to fill it will oil to just have to drain it again to ship. if you are serious about buying it i will but if you're not sure i'd rather not.
i'm open to offers as is. it also comes with 2 screw drivers and a wrench

Ok, I assume it was a running and working saw right up until the time it wouldn't start? The bar and chain don't look smoked like the oiler is weak and not oiling enough? The one I have runs perfect only problem is the auto oiler has been bypassed and the manual oiler is weak. After 3 big cuts my thumb is ready to fall off. If all of the above is accurate I will take it for 40 plus shipping. How do we make arrangement's? New to this site.

unfortunately i have no back story to it. i picked it up at a flea market figuring while i didnt have many projects i would fix it. then long story short 9 chainsaws plus 3 go karts wound up in my shop. i was told it was purchased from an estate sale. as it sounds like you're serious about the saw i will check to make sure the oiler is working and get a compression check for you tonight. when i went through it quick it does have spark but i'm pretty sure it will need a carb kit and it does need the buffer between the handle and the engine, its still there but it seperated.

Ok, check it out if you would. I an definitely interested. I am having problems finding parts for mine and it's too good of a saw to scrap but if yours has a working oiling system and an extra bar and chain it's worth it to me to have it.
