I've bought several used Poulan saws, and on some the lines were gone while others the old lines were just fine.

No, digging through old inventory, Poulan lines just crumble in the wrappers.

I've started using the tygon type tubing for couple years. I don't know for sure how well it will last.
I try to stay away from the China type but not sure all of my tygon is USA type.

I also don't use ethanol gas in my eq., but Craftsman/Poulans/ Sears fuel and oil lines go bad sitting on the shelf.
I suspect it's made to do so on purpose so as their saws can be sold faster, knowing that it's more common now days for people to buy new rather than repair:oops:.

And really enjoy having to hunt for those big channel lock pliers of mine to remove those swollen gas caps too.

No fuel is immune to aging just some age more gracefully like the Nitrile rubber versions I have seen on some saws.
