I recall somebody saying that Craftsman saws were made by Solo. I will try to attach some pics, but this saw looks like a Poulan. It's older ( no chain brake) and says 3.7/18 on one cover. What kind of price might I expect for it on eBay?

Craftsman saws have been made by just about everyone over the years, David Bradley, Homelite, Poulan, Solo etc.etc.etc As far as E-bay goes it's anybodys guess.

That looks like an old Poulan to me. Solo makes one of Sears' current models. In the past, almost everyone made saws for them. I've never seen a genuine Sears Homelite, however. Lots of late '60s looked like crude copies of the XL-100 series.

You wouldn't get much for it. In the $20-50 range, probably,

Yep, Roper made several different models for Sears. they also made the same saws for other companies such as Jet Star, Montgomery Wards etc,. These were mostly late 60's and 70's saws. Tell tale signs are the pull starter cover/shroud, they all look similar.
