Crazy idea!

Okay I have this 056mag,most of my trees are under 18'' and softwood to boot. I picked up a 20'',really a 19'' Carlton Pro Champ bar for it.Right now the saw is running a 30'' bar and .404 square ground chain. Way over kill! But I plan to put on a 9 pin 3/8 rim and run that 20'' bar.So how do you think she will work? I did cut a 30'' poplar with this saw with the big bar and she never slowed down! So on a 14'' pine with that 9 pin I would think it would be very fast. I would like to hear from you that have played with these big old monsters.

It will work great but might tend to over speed so tune it a bit richer.

No way is that overkill for an 056Mag... go big or go home! LOL
