Hey guys I'm new to the site. I got in a fight with my chainsaw (cs-400) and its winning right now, I did not muffler mod it at all but I did pull the limiters off and removed the lil tabs to give her a full proper tuning except now it's runinng...barely and won't throttle up properly at all, just bogs or dies. I've tried tuning it an watching videos but I'm getting no where. Can someone give me some good factory settings for the Idle screw and the L-H jets and how to tune it in for proper acceleration and deceleration. Thanks and much appreciated!

Typically turning them all the way in to seated and then one full turn out will be a good place to start. But I think you may need to go further out than this with the Echos.

That saw should be tuned in wood due to the limited coil. Tune it very fat on the top end and lean it out to where it cuts good and 4 strokes when you ease up on it in a cut.

your low needs to be adjusted out.... alot more then one turn....then like he said readjust in wood......when you think is good make a few long cuts... shut it of mid cut let it cool down check the plug for golden brown......
