Cutters edge fire and rescue saw jonsered cs2172

Just came across these beauties on fleabay.
Theres 3 days left till the end of auction if anyone is interested. Fortunately i am too far to even consider lol

We used to have these turds at the fire house. Those bullet chains were awful and the saws weighed a ton and never ran right. How much were they asking for them?

I have bought two of them in The Netherlands. They were also used by the fire department, but had barely seen any use.
Mine are the 2171 version, I think it's more desirable than the 2171 (x-torq).

True that the bullet chain is not designed for wood cutting. Although it looks like that mine have been used for only that.

Theire 725canadian each by the looks of it. I like the looks and would make a great door stop or something sitting next to fireplace

Its interesting that they didnt run right. 272 was an amazing saw.

The 272 was a couple of generations earlier than the 2172- and Orange.

Jonsered 2171 = Husqvarna 372 X-Torq

The cutters edge saws a missing a few parts to make it useable for wood cutting.
Inner (and outer) dog, 3/8 sprocket, normal air filter and air filter cover, normal starter handle, but it comes with a full wrap.

Thanks for the correction. So it was based on 372xp. Should be same orange saw in red dress and different handlebar

Thanks. I really like the looks of the air filter. Does it restrict air flow compared to original?

No, for me it's just that it's quite bulky and it's in the way. And they made a hole in the cover so you would have to close it off or buy a new cover.

Probably that the 2171 was based off the 2171.

The 371 is the 2071.
